A small business's brand design consists of:
1. Defining your small business's story so that you know what your brand should communicate
2. Creating a logo that tells that story
3. Designing consistent stationery and marketing materials to increase your brand's visibility, credibility anf memorability
4. A Visual Vocabulary to increase the consistency and flexibility of your brand. A Visual Vocabulary is all of the design elements that appear on your marketing materials in addition to your logo — the visual sidekicks to your logo, the superhero. This includes things like font choices, color palettes, photographs or illustrations, background patterns or textures, and even paper choice.
